Chris Sherrod wants to meet Richard Branson of Virgin

I would like to meet Richard Branson.  He is a mentor of mine.  I have read his two big books Losing My Virginity and Screw It, Let's Do It.  Both excellent. And I have ordered his new book Business Stripped Bare. On the photo to the right I'm in front of the Virgin Megastore in Paris France in the summer of 2007.

Richard Branson is a mentor of mine because of his unbelievable marketing skill.  He is fantastic at getting free publicity.  He also is a great people person and puts people in a winning position as management gets a piece of the action.  Also, his companies customer service is great.  The stories I have heard about his customer service is almost unbelievable.

He believes that business is the the only way to solve many problems and I whole heartly agree in that.  He latest prize for eliminating green house gases is a great as it gives inventors a goal to go after.  He learned from the X-Prize that setting a prize brings out everyones creative juices with a goal.  Much like Kennedy setting the USA goal of getting to the moon, Richard Branson is a great leader.

I was listening to a marketing audio by another mentor of mine Joe Vitale when he suggested just simply asking to meet someone you admire.  And since my company is in the Internet business I put up this website.

Once I meet Richard Branson I will turn this website into the story of how I met him and what I learned.  I believe if more people acted like Richard Branson this world would lift itself into great prosperity and abundance.  I want this website to help in bring this vision to the world by meeting my favorite mentor in the world.
